Enlisted Assignment Process:

REFERENCE: AR 614-200

  • Assignment of Inbound Soldiers: Inbound soldiers are assigned to a major subordinate command based upon equitable distribution throughout the installation. A new gains roster is published monthly and provided to the gaining subordinate command.
  • Inter-battalion Transfers are performed when a soldier is moved from one brigade to another. Coordination must be made through Brigade CSMs. Final action will be approved by Enlisted Strength based on installation strength in both units.
  • Intra-battalion Transfers are performed when a soldier is moved within one brigade and must be approved by the brigade CSM.

Monitors all enlisted assignments insuring an equitable distribution of personnel throughout the installation, and conducts strength briefings as required to installation leadership.
