All Soldiers (to include Soldiers with family members) reporting to WSMR must report to the SDO located in Bldg 1417*, which is located behind Bldg 1408, on Dyer Street, to obtain either transient billeting or family housing. It is strongly recommended that you call in advance to make reservations at (575) 678-4559 or (575) 678-1838 for Lodging/Guest Housing; (575) 678-3534 for Family Housing; or (575) 678-2951 for Unaccompanied Personnel Housing.

NOTE: The map that’s been provided on this website shows Bldg 384 as the bldg to report to, this has been changed to Bldg 1417.

WSMR Lodging has only one pet facility available, and is assigned on first come, first served. WSMR lodging operations consists of 70 units with the ability to house 106-116 guests. They offer Comcast High Speed Internet, free HBO, and a continental breakfast.

Lodging hours of operations are:
Monday - Friday 0700-1630 Saturday & Sunday, 1130-1500

Note: WSMR does not have a Dining Facility (DFAC) at the present time so Soldiers are authorized to use the Frontier Club (Building 1330), Bowling Alley (Building 234), or the Italian Café (Building 460, located inside the Community Center) to obtain meals. You are authorized to use your PCS orders in lieu of a Meal Card until you are issued a Meal Card by your unit or placed on Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS or Separate Rations).
