White Sands Missile Range has an extensive history for rockets, missile, UAV, and space vehicle testing.  White Sands Missile Range has supported testing and evaluation efforts for Apollo, Skylab, Delta Clipper, X-40, Space Shuttle, and Orion CEV projects.
