Yancy J. Hampton

 

1SG Yancy J. Hampton is a native of Gainesville, Florida. 1SG Hampton entered the Army on 3 March 1998 as a 14T (Patriot Launching Station Enhanced Operator/Maintainer).  He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Bliss, Texas.

 

1SG Hampton has served in several enlisted leadership positions from assistant squad leader to First Sergeant. His duty assignments include, Delta Battery 2nd Bn, 43rd ADA, Fort Bliss, TX, Charlie and Delta Battery 5th Bn, 7th ADA, Babenhausen, GE, HHB 5th Bn 7th ADA, Kaiserslautern, GE, HHB 3rd Bn, 6th ADA, Fort Sill, OK, Delta Battery 2nd Bn, 1st ADA, Camp Carroll, Korea, Alpha Battery 1st Bn, 44th ADA, Fort Hood, TX, Bravo Battery 1st Bn, 44th ADA, Fort Hood, TX, HHB 69th ADA BDE , Fort Hood, TX, Alpha Battery 2nd Bn, 1st ADA, Kunsan Air Base, ROK, HHB and Delta Battery 3rd Bn, 43rd ADA, Fort Bliss, Texas, HHB 3rd Bn, 43rd ADA, Fort Bliss, Texas and HHB, 11TH ADA “IMPERIAL” Brigade, Air Missile Defense Test Detachment 3rd Bn, 6th ADA, White Sands Missile Range, NM.

 

His military education includes Basic Training, Advanced Individual Training, Basic Leaders Course, Combatives Level 1, ATFP Course, Observer Controller Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Cadre Training Course, Operation Security Officer Course, Combatives Level 2, Combat Lifesaver Course and Unit Movement Officer Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders and Master Resiliency Course, Senior Leaders Course, Security Managers Course, and Company Commander/First Sergeant Pre-Command Course.

 

1SG Hampton is a member of the Prestigious Honorable Order of Saint Barbara.
