BATAAN MEMORIAL DEATH MARCH CANCELLED
WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M.
(March 11, 2020)
Out of an abundance of caution, the U.S. Army made the decision to cancel this year's Bataan Memorial Death March scheduled for March 15, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 threat. We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause to our guests, race participants, volunteers, sponsors and other stakeholders, many of whom are traveling from outside the state of New Mexico.

The Bataan Memorial Death March is a challenging march through the high desert terrain of the White Sands Missile Range. The memorial march is conducted in honor of the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II, sacrificing their freedom, health, and, in many cases, their very lives.
