Trinity Site Open House
The Trinity Site Open House scheduled for October 3, 2020, at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) has been cancelled due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
The decision was made by WSMR Commander Brig. Gen. David Trybula as a precautionary measure to protect an expected turnout of more than 5,000 participants from throughout the United States and overseas, as well as the employees and volunteers supporting the event.

This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.  For more details click on the information links/short videos below or contact the WSMR Public Affairs Office at 575-678-1134. 

The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the Trinity Site test.  Wait time getting on the installation could exceed more than one hour.

 Stallion Gate Hours:

 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

 Trinity site prompt closure:

3:30 p.m.

 Alamogordo Caravan

Due to the annual increase in the number of visitors to the Trinity Site Open Houses. The Alamogordo caravan is only open to the first 125 vehicles.  The limit is necessary to maintain a safe environment enroute to Trinity Site.  All others will have to enter the site through the Stallion Gate located off U.S. Highway 380, View directions here.  The route is approximately the same time and distance as the caravan route.
