The Aerospace Data Facility-Southwest (ADF-SW) at White Sands Missile Range welcomed a new commander during a Change of Command ceremony as outgoing Commander Col. Kelly Burt relinquished command to incoming Commander Col. Michael C. Todd June 24 at the site.

ADF-SW is one of the tenant organizations on White Sands Missile Range, located on the far-west edge of the range within NASA-Johnson Space Center's White Sands Test Facility.

ADF-SW is one of three National Reconnaissance Office Mission Ground Stations in the United States that support worldwide defense operations and multi-agency collection, analysis, reporting, and dissemination of intelligence information.

Burt is departing ADF-SW and WSMR to assume duty as the Chief of Space & Cyber Operations for United States Space Command's Combined Forces Space Component Command at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

Todd is a career space operator who has previously served at Schriever, Vandenberg and Peterson Air Force Bases as well as the Pentagon.

Todd is a graduate of the Air Force's Air Command & Staff College and the Army War College.  He most recently served as United States Space Force's Chief of Training within the Directorate of Space and Cyber Operations (S3/6) at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado.
