On-Post Residents Invited to Garrison Town Hall on Lead Based Paint Sept. 13

September 06, 2018

On-post residents of White Sands Missile Range have likely seen national news stories concerning lead based paint in Army privatized housing at other posts. The Command has no indication of any problems here, but, in an effort to keep our community informed, Garrison commander Col. Chris Ward will host a Town Hall for our on-post military and civilian residents and their families to discuss the issue on Thursday, September 13, at 1 p.m. in the Post Theater. Joining the commander will be military medical officers, water quality experts from the post's Environmental office and representatives of Balfour Beatty Communities, the company that manages the post's privatized housing. All military and civilian residents of WSMR housing are invited to attend.
